Sunday/Monday Picks - Week 12

2-3 on Turkey Day...pretty much what I expected, although I thought the upset might have been Oakland over Dallas, but still some great football action.

Now on to Sunday and Monday. I'm going with most of the favorites, save for two upsets, but I'll discuss the most interesting matchups.

I'm taking the Jets at home over the Panthers. Coach Ryan will play this one extra tough and Carolina, despite having played better the last few games, might succumb to the Jets hungry defense. The Panthers can win if they run the ball effectively, but Delhomme might cause some turnovers which could cost them the game.

Tennessee is on a roll and there seems to be no stopping Chris Johnson. And with QB Vince Young playing smart and aggressively, we're looking at a different Titans team here down the stretch.

Houston can't seem to win winnable games and Indianapolis has done nothing but, so I'm going with the Colts.

Pittsburgh at Baltimore. This is going to be another classic slug fest, and on prime time, oh my. But you already know who I'm picking.

Here's my upset special (drum roll). I'm going with New England to make a statement against the Saints. First off, the Saints have had too many close and sloppy games to make me think they can pull out a win against the Pats, who despite a questionable decision or two, look like their old selves. Something tells me the Patriots want some revenge for the loss to Indy, and I don't think it's too much to say they can take out one undefeated team this year. Regardless of the outcome, this should be one hell of a Monday Night Football game.
